Alumni meet is an event celebrated in every institute so to give your alumni an opportunity to renew bonds with past classmates and cherish their relationship with faculties and staff members. The Alumni Association creates and keeps alumni interest in their Education guild and develops interest to contribute to their Alma matter. Alumni Meeting, a networking event conceived to exchange experiences and to share ideas with current students, faculties and staff.

Ten years have passed by since the inception of SJC, Hassan. With just 25 students, SJC Hassan came into existence and today after 10 years the college currently has strength of about 500 students. Past ten years SJC has witnessed many young souls walking out of the college with graduation degree in their hands. Rev Fr Roshan David Periera SJ, present Director of SJC, Hassan thought about getting back the passed out students back to the campus. The idea took shape and the formation of Alumni Association turned into reality on 29.02.2020.

1 st SJC Alumni meet 2020 held on 29.02.2020, started with formal registration of the Alumni at 11.30 a.m. Alumni, Around 200 ex-students, after refreshing themselves with the provided welcome drink, got themselves registered and proceeded to the auditorium where an elegant decor awaited them. Mr Chethan and Ms Surabhi fulfilled their obligation as the host of the program. Ms Chaitra GP and team welcomed the gathering through their classical dance performance. Lamp was lit by the dignitaries Rev Fr Sunith Prabhu SJ, Rev Fr Joseph D'Souza SJ, Rev Fr Roshan David Periera SJ, Mr Dinesh M Gaonkar, Ms Prathima Prabhu and Mr Pradeep Kumar, who then took their seats on the dais. All the dignitaries on the dais were felicitated with floral welcome. The dignitaries, on turns addressed the gathering, wishing the alumni a great success in all their future endeavors as well as letting them know the changes that have taken place in the institution in the past few years. 2 alumni students also took turn to share their views on the meet and their experience at St Joseph's. Ms Kusuma delivered the vote of thanks. A presentation was displayed to bring back the old good jolly days of the students during their college tenure. Current students of the college expressed their love for the alumni in form of a dance with different songs mashed up.

After the formal program the alumni gathered in batches to get themselves captured in the camera lens. The day came to a standstill with lunch and the floor was open to all the dance lovers to tap their feet to the rhythms played. It was a pleasure to see alumni gather together in such a big number coming from different parts of the country. The day was filled with chirping voices from all of them recalling the memories of their good old memorable days. It was an agglomeration of alumni from diverse background and was blessing for the students, faculty, and staff looking at the current position and working status.
