A Two day AICUF State Council election was held at St Joseph's College (Autonomous), Shantinagar, Bangalore on 20th and 21st July 2019. The purpose of the meet was to elect the council members for the academic year 2019-2020.

The event kick started with the Eucharistic celebration that was celebrated by Rev Fr Joy Rodrigues SJ, AICUF State Advisor. On the first day students were introduced to AICUF after which students actively took part in various activities like paint me a picture and action songs. Every college had to present a brief report on the activities that were conducted by AICUF unit in their college for the year 2018 - 2019. Ms Adlene George, the Secretary of AICUF (2019 - 2020), SJC, Hassan, presented the report about the various activities conducted by the AICUF association for the academic year 2018 -2019. The report bought about the following details:

On 14th July 2018 AICUF took off its first flight along with the other clubs at the SJC Campus.

On 21st to 22nd July 2018 AICUF students had camp in Bangalore regarding State Council elections at SJCC.

From 26th July 2018 - 31st July 2018 AICUF celebrated Ignatius Loyola week wherein competitions such as Quiz, Essay and Drawing competition were conducted.

Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated on the 31st July 2018.

From 16th to 31st August AICUF had organized Flood relief donation campaign.

On 1st September 2018 AICUF team organized a one day treat for the Catholic students of PU and Degree Students.

AICUF students attended 3 days camp called MAGIS 2018 at Gulbarga.

From 17th to 21st December 2018 AICUF organized a Christmas week celebration with a theme a December to remember during which competition such as Star making Competition, Live Crib Competition, Cake decoration competition and carol singing competition were organised.

Day two of the State Council Election begin with praise and worship session, followed by a talk on leadership. Students contesting had to conduct an election campaign, after which elections were conducted. The council members were now been elected for the year 2019 - 2020. The day ended with a thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration.
