The Eco Club of SJC organised GREEN DAY as an initial activity, on the 29th of June 2018. Green was the dress code for the staff and students. The program began with the election of the President, Secretary and Treasurer for the club. Around 150 students have enrolled in the Eco Club.

Mr. Subba Swamy, the owner of Vijaya School and the founder of "Hasiru Bhoomi Prathishtana" was the chief guest for occasion. A true nature lover, a fact well portrayed through his speech. The Staff coordinators of Eco Club, Ms Shwetha M and Ms Jenisia Lasrado along with the management of SJC are highly grateful to Mr Subba Swamy for his generosity of donating 15 fruit bearing plants to the institution.

Director of SJC Rev Fr Roshan Periera SJ also motivated the students to actively take part in this noble cause of protecting the Environment. 15 fruit bearing trees were planted in the college campus where in the Chief Guest, Director, Principal, Staff Coordinators and students of Eco Club and the other staff members actively took part.
