The College organised Graduation Day on the 3rd August for the outgoing students of 2019 batch. 100 + candidates registered their names for the ceremony and walked away with a certificate of degree in their hands as a symbol of their accomplishment.
A ceremonial march was held from the college entrance to the college auditorium wherein the Students Band took the lead, followed by the students and then the dignitaries. Ahead of all were the flag bearers, Mr Joyster Monis, the College President, who held the National flag to express our desire to be a responsible citizen, while the college flag which is a symbol of our devotion to education was proudly carried by Mr Anoop, the Academic Coordinator.
The formal program was compeered by Ms Tasmiya Sultana. Ms Nischitha and team invoked God's blessings through a prayer dance. The dignitaries were then led to the dais to light the lamp. The Chief Guest of the program was Dr K M Mahadevan, The Registrar of Evaluation, Mysore University. The program was preceded by Rev Fr Joseph D?Souza SJ, The Secretary and Treasurer of Hassan Jesuit Educational Society. The other dignitaries who joined the platform were Rev Fr Roshan David Periera SJ, The Director, Mr Dinesh M Gaonkar, The Principal, Mr Pradeep Kumar V, Head of Management Department, and Ms Prathima Prabhu, Head of Commerce Department.
Showers of blessings were then poured on the ceremony and graduates with the blessing ceremony which was conducted by Rev Fr Roshan David Periera SJ. Ms Jenisia Lasrado, Faculty at the department of Management extended a red carpet welcome to the dignitaries on the dais and the gathering. Ms Pooja Jain then took her turn to introduce the chief guest to the gathering. The President Delegate, Rev Fr Joseph D?Souza SJ then honoured the chief guest Dr K M Mahadevan.
Students were presented for the conferment of degree by Ms Prathima Prabhu, Head of Commerce Department and Mr Pradeep Kumar V, Head of Management Department. Students on their turns came forward and obtained a degree from Dr K M Mahadevan, the Registrar of evaluation of Mysore University. This was a proud moment for all the graduates as they received the degree as a symbol of their accomplishment. Rev Fr Roshan David Periera, The Director then administered the Oath.

On behalf of all the graduating students, Ms Roshni Ghandi and Ms Suha Shariff shared their experiences at St Joseph's college for the past 3 years.
The President delegate, Rev Fr Joseph D'Souza SJ addressed the gathering in which he said that God is with us and within us and we carry God with us wherever we go.
