In the modern education trend OBE plays seminal role in the life of every individual . Focus on
Outcome based education helps the holistic development of the students. With this thought in
mind , the IQAC organised one day FDP Programme on 23-10- 2021,Saturday at 9.00 Am.
It was an open invite to the faculty of St Joseph College Hassan. The programme started with
evoking the blessing of the Lord Almighty with a prayer song. Rev Dr Daniel Fernandes SJ,
Principal of SJC Hassan introduced the speaker to the participants .
The speaker for the session was Dr Himachalapathy Assistant professor St Joseph’s College of
Commerce(Autonomous) Bengaluru. He is a renowned personality with loads of experience in
his field. He gave the detailed information about the Outcome Based Education and its
importance in today’s modern trends of learning.
Around 20 staff members were benefited through this session. Several beneficial activities were
conducted and at the end of the session, participants asked the questions to the speaker and also
appreciated his vision and work. The vote of thanks delivered by Ms Princia Fernandes
Department of Commerce and Ms Prathima Prabhu coordinator of IQAC was the MC of the
day.
