The eyes are considered as the jewel of the body. One can say a lot through their eyes. As an initiative to promote the health and fitness of the staff and students, NSS unit of SJC, Hassan organized a free eye check-up camp in collaboration with Shivaprasad Nethralaya. The camp was organized 21st Septmeber 2019 in the premises of the college. We understand the importance of taking adequate care for eyesight, particularly in the education industry, and wanted to ensure that the staff and students have sufficient awareness on eye care and have a healthy vision.

All the students were highly enthusiastic to participate in the eye check-up camp. This program was aimed at providing the staff and students with the status of their eyesight, making them aware about necessary care for healthy eyes and offer solutions to those who required it.

The program had several features for FREE: Computerised eye check-up and status report. Counselling to those who required additional care for the eyes. Informative session on eye care and precautions for healthy vision. Discount vouchers on various eye care products & services.

Around 400 students and 30 staff members participated in the eye camp. The coordinators of NSS, Mr Guruprasad and Mr Bharath are grateful to the Shivaprasad Nethralaya team for their service rendered.
