The AICUF unit of St Joseph's College Hassan, organized a retreat with the theme "Walk the day with the Lord" on the 1st of September 2018. The retreat was held in the chapel of Navsadhana which is a foundation center for the young boys aspiring to join the Jesuit Order.

Around 120 Catholics from St Joseph's Degree and PU College were present for the same. Rev Fr. Ronald Cardoza, The Parish Priest of St Anthony's Church, Hassan was invited to be the preacher for the retreat. Brother Anil and Brother Sunil joined him with their band and made this retreat a fruitful one.

The retreat began at 10.00 am with a praise and worship session conducted by Brother Anil and Brother Sunil. Rev. Fr. Ronald Cardoza then rendered a talk to the gathering, various rare examples with a touch of his wit gave this retreat a great boost. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament was held for an hour wherein many felt the presence and power of God. The retreat concluded with the Eucharistic celebration.

The AICUF coordinators of St. Joseph's College, Hassan, Ms. Jenisia Fathima Lasrado and Ms. Jane Fathima Noronha are extremely thankful to Rev. Fr. Roshan David Periera SJ, The Director of St Joseph's College, Hassan for taking complete charge and for making all the necessary arrangements. We are grateful to Rev. Fr. Prathap Chandru SJ, the Director of Navsadhana for permitting us to organize the retreat in the chapel of Navsadhana and Rev. Fr. Elwis Lewis SJ, the Principal of St Joseph's P U College, Hassan for sending the P U students to take part in the retreat.
