Athletic Meet, securing 1 gold and 3 silver medals on the opening day of the competition.
The college athletes demonstrated commendable performance across multiple events:
• Discus Throw (Women) – Silver Prathana (2nd BCA)
• Triple Jump (Men) – Silver - Thejesh KS (1st BBA)
• 800m (Women) – Silver - Shubhashini (1st BCom)

teamwork by securing the Runner-up position at the VIDWATH 2K26 Box Cricket
Tournament, hosted by Vidyavardaka First Grade College, Mysore, on 6 March 2026.

Students of St Joseph’s College, Hassan brought laurels to the institution with their
impressive performances at the Open Youth Nationals 2026, organized by the Youth Games
Council of India.
Thejesh K. S., a 1st Year BBA student, secured the Gold Medal in the 800m Athletics
Event, demonstrating exceptional speed and endurance. In recognition of his outstanding
performance, he has also been selected to represent at the International Youth Games to
be held in Nepal.

St Joseph’s College, Hassan, proudly congratulates Thejesh K.S (I BBA) on his remarkable achievement at the Youth Games Open National Championships 2026 held in Delhi. Thejesh secured the Gold Medal in the 800 meters, showcasing exceptional endurance, focus, and athletic excellence.
Adding to this proud moment, he has also been selected to represent India at the Youth Game International Championship in Nepal. His dedication, discipline, and determination reflect the spirit of excellence that St Joseph’s College, Hassan strives to nurture in every student.
SJC Hassan Celebrates Annual Sports Day 2025-26 — I BCOM B Crowned Overall Champions

St. Joseph’s College (SJC), Hassan, hosted its much-awaited Annual Sports Meet — 2025 on 21 November 2025 at the college grounds. The programme opened with a grand march- past led by the majestic school band of St. Joseph’s English Medium School, followed by a smart parade of NCC cadets from St. Joseph’s High School, Hassan. Degree students of SJC completed the class-wise march-past to the stirring tunes of the school band, setting a festive and disciplined tone for the day.
