Aims and Objectives of the Student Council

Promote College Spirit and Unity
Foster a sense of belonging, enthusiasm, and pride among students through college- wide initiatives and events.

Develop Leadership Skills
Encourage students to take initiative, assume leadership roles, and grow as responsible and ethical leaders.

Practice Participatory Democracy
Provide students with a hands-on experience of democratic processes through elections, debates, and representation.

Enhance Communication and Conflict Resolution
Help students articulate ideas, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and represent peer concerns effectively.

Encourage Civic Responsibility

St Joseph's College Announces Student Council for 2026–27

St Joseph's College, Hassan, has constituted its Student Council for the academic year 2026–27, entrusting a dynamic team of student leaders with the responsibility of fostering academic excellence, student engagement, cultural vibrancy, and sportsmanship on campus. The elections were held under the guidance of Student Council Governor, Mr. Anil M.S., Faculty of English.
