B.Com programme is designed to meet this very need. The curriculum builds a strong
academic foundation in core areas such as Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Statistics, and
Auditing, while offering specialisations in Cost Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Human
Resource Management in the final semesters.
This three-year undergraduate programme is both challenging and rewarding, aimed at

Objectives of the B.Com Programme
The B.Com programme at St Joseph’s College, Hassan is designed with the following key

odd semesters, with guest speakers who have experience in the contemporary

- Bridge courses in Mathematics and Accounting are conducted to enable students
from other disciplines to be seamlessly integrated into the framework
- They will be trained in Tally, Excel and Advanced Excel to be on par with industry
standards locally and in the global arena.
