St Joseph’s College, Hassan, organized “Chinnara Kalarava”, a vibrant outreach programme
for children residing in the vicinity of the college campus at B. Katihalli. Around 50 boys and
girls enthusiastically participated in a variety of fun-filled sports and recreational activities,
including Cricket, Lagori, Tug of War, Musical Chair, Sack Run, Pick off the Ball, and several
other engaging games.
The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Maxim Dias SJ, Principal, who marked the
occasion with a cricket activity. He encouraged the children to actively participate, enjoy the
campus environment, and cultivate teamwork and sportsmanship.

The Centre for Social Action (CSA) and the Red Cross Club of St Joseph’s College,
Hassan collaborated with Sparsh Hospital, Hassan to organize a Free Health Camp on the
college campus at Kathihalli for students and staff.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Suresh Lankeshwar, MD, Sparsh Hospital, who
emphasized the importance of cultivating good and healthy habits in life. A dedicated
medical team, including Dr. Surabi and a group of nurses, conducted day-long health
checkups which included medical consultations, general health examinations, ECG tests, and
doctor consultations.
