“Threads of Traditions,” a vibrant four-day cultural fest, was successfully organized by the Alma Club in collaboration with the Theatre Club of St. Joseph’s College, Hassan from 22nd to 25th April 2026. The event aimed to celebrate cultural heritage while providing a lively platform for students to showcase their creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm.

The fest commenced on 22nd April with a range of engaging activities including drawing, puzzle solving, Lagori (boys), and hook steps, setting an energetic tone for the days ahead.

On 23rd April, the focus shifted to cultural expression and fun, with events such as sack race, festival role play, pot painting, and Lagori (girls). The role play performances beautifully depicted diverse traditions, while pot painting highlighted the artistic flair of the participants.

The third day, 24th April, brought in high energy with team-based competitions like tug of war, musical chair, hopscotch (Kunte Bille), and reels making, encouraging collaboration and spirited participation among students. The event concluded on 25th April with a grand finale featuring a fashion walk, dance, singing, musical chair, and the much-anticipated pot breaking, marking a joyful culmination of the fest.
