Kannada Sangha Activities for 2026 Inaugurated at St Joseph’s College

The various activities of the Kannada Sangha for the academic year 2026 were officially inaugurated at St Joseph’s College, Hassan with a beautiful program in the quadrangle of the college. The Kannada Sangha aims to promote the Kannada language, literature, culture and art among students while nurturing a deep sense of reverence, interest and appreciation for the rich heritage of Kannada.

The inaugural programme was attended by the faculty, staff and students. The programme highlighted the significance of Kannada language, literature and culture and encouraged students to develop their creativity and strengthen their love for the language. Throughout 2026-27, the Kannada Sangha plans to organise a variety of literary, cultural and student talent-based programmes, providing students with opportunities to showcase their skills and actively engage with Kannada language and culture.

With the inspiring message, “Let us learn Kannada – Let us nurture Kannada – Let us preserve Kannada culture,” the Kannada Sangha looks forward to a vibrant and meaningful year of activities. The Kannada Sangha activities are coordinated by the faculty members of SJC, Mr Rangegowda DB, Mr Mohan A and Ms Monica SV. The event took place on August 28, 2026.
