St Joseph’s College Holds Investiture Ceremony and Inaugurates Student Clubs

St Joseph’s College, Hassan, held its Investiture Ceremony and Inauguration of Clubs on 14 August 2026 at the Loyola Auditorium, marking an important beginning to the student leadership and co-curricular activities for the academic year 2026–27.

The programme was graced by Sri. Raghavendra Prakash N.K., Circle Inspector of Police, Extension Police Station, Hassan, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Maxim Dias SJ, Principal, presided over the ceremony, in the presence of Mr. Pradeep Kumar V, Vice Principal, faculty members, student leaders and students.

The ceremony formally entrusted student leaders with their responsibilities and emphasized the importance of leadership, commitment and service. Mr. Anil M.S. and Mr. Mohan A were entrusted with the responsibility of serving as Student Governors, supported by Fr. Arvind Royce SJ, Finance Officer, and Fr. Olvin Veigas SJ, Campus Animator.

The event also marked the inauguration of the various student clubs, providing students with opportunities to develop leadership, creativity, teamwork, social responsibility and other skills beyond the classroom. The ceremony reflected the college’s commitment to holistic education and empowering students to take an active role in campus life. The event took place on 14 August 2026.
