Immersion Program in Japan: Opening Global Career Pathways for Students

St Joseph’s College, Hassan, organized an informative session for students interested in the Immersion (Work and Learn) Program in Japan, facilitated by In4Growth Global Ventures Pvt. Ltd. The session aimed to create awareness about international career opportunities and equip students with insights into working in Japan.

Mr. Sanju Lokesh, Director – Strategic Alliance, along with Ms. Amritha Lewis, addressed the students and highlighted the growing demand for skilled Indian graduates in Japan. They explained how the Immersion Program serves as a bridge between Indian talent and Japanese innovation, offering structured training in language, culture, and technical skills essential for career success abroad.

The speakers also elaborated on the benefits of the program, including professional exposure, global work experience, and long-term career prospects in Japan. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 32 students expressing keen interest in exploring this opportunity.

The initiative reflects the college’s commitment to providing global exposure and career- oriented platforms for its students. Fr Olvin Veigas SJ coordinated the event which took place on 22 April 2026.
