Empowering Future Careers: Placement Drive & AI-ML Career Seminar at SJC, Hassan

St. Joseph’s College, Hassan, hosted an engaging and impactful on-campus placement drive led by Mr. Karthik, HR Officer at Clini Launch Research Institute and Win In Life Academy, Bangalore. The drive focused on recruiting talented graduates for the role of Business Development Associate (BDA), offering students a valuable opportunity to step into the dynamic EdTech industry.

In addition to the placement process, Mr. Karthik conducted a “Career-Ready” Guidance Seminar, designed as a Student Development Programme under a CSR initiative. The session was attended by final-year students of BBA, B.Com, and BCA, equipping them with practical insights to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

The seminar highlighted emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, and Cyber Security, emphasizing the growing demand for cross- functional tech roles. Students were introduced to evolving career pathways, the integration of AI with cybersecurity, and the increasing relevance of automation and predictive analytics in today’s job market.

This initiative reflects the institution’s continued commitment to enhancing employability and preparing students for future-ready careers, while fostering meaningful industry- academia collaboration. The event took place on 24 February 2026. It was coordinated by Fr Olvin Veigas, SJ the faculty and in charge of placement department at SJC, Hassan.
