Day Two of Faculty Development Programme Enriches Teaching Excellence at St Joseph's College, Hassan

St Joseph's College, Hassan, successfully conducted the second day of its Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for the teaching staff on 15 July 2026. The day-long session was led by Prof. Clement D'Souza, Former Professor, St Joseph's University, Bengaluru, on the theme "The Effective Teacher: Enablers, Differentiators, and Professionalism in Academia."

Drawing from over 35 years of teaching and administrative experience in Jesuit higher education, Prof. D'Souza inspired the faculty through insightful sessions on institutional development, understanding today's learners, and applying design thinking for effective classroom management. His practical approach and wealth of experience made the programme highly engaging and enriching, equipping faculty members with innovative perspectives to enhance teaching excellence and professional growth.
