The grand event “Kannada Rajyotsava 2021” was organized by ‘Kannada Sangha’ under the chairmanship of our Kannada Professor Mr. D B Rangegowda, our beloved Vice Principal Mr. Dinesh M Gaonkar and the President of Kannada Sangha ,Sagar G. The program was started at 12.00 PM and the President of the program was our Finance Officer, Fr. Balaraj in the absence of our beloved Principal Fr. Daniel Fernandes. The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. A H Sagar , an educationist. The responsibility of anchoring was held by Sushmitha and Gangadhar, who hosted the show very well without any hassle. There was an eye-catching Bharatanatyam performance by Nirisha at the very beginning of the program which gave a Good start to the event. The guest of the programme was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers and by a welcome speech by Bimba. At 12:15 the dignitaries of the programme lighted the diyas and worshipped our Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. The chief guest of the programme Mr. Sagar A H ,was wonderfully introduced by Joyal. We were all amazed to know about our guest. The guest, Mr. Sagar being an international educationist, researcher and a national level sportsman was so down to earth and humble in nature. We had the guest speech at 12:20 PM. Mr. Sagar engaged the crowd And made sure that none of us felt bored throughout the speech. it was an interesting session where he spoke about his life which was truly very inspiring and motivated us to do great in life, to escape from ordinary and to think out of the box in order to achieve something. He also spoke about philosophy and the importance of critical thinking to reduce insecurities in ones mind. He also made us to do a couple of activities in order to practically understand critical thinking and questioning abilities in ones life.
At 12:55 PM, Fr. Balaraj addressed the gathering and spoke a few inspiring words. Next, the vote of thanks was proposed by the president of Kannada Sangha, Sagar G. After finishing all the formal programme, the dance competition began at 1:05 PM. The competition was given a good start by Chaithra, who danced for the state anthem. Later on, power-packed dance performances were given by 2nd B.com A, 2nd B.com B, 3rd B.com B, 3rd B.com A and finally by 2nd BBA. The program was successfully ended by announcing the champions
