Optum has conducted campus recruitment drive on 9th February 2022 in St. Joseph’s College, Hassan. United Health Group is incorporated as a US – based Multinational Company managing Healthcare and Insurance and is headquartered in Minnetonka. Optum is a subsidiary of united Health Group managing Health Services and Innovation. Optum offers a comprehensive, End to end solution for the healthcare ecosystem.

Optimum is currently hiring fresh college graduates for its business as Medical Coders. This is a great opportunity if you wish to pursue a career in the healthcare industry.

Panel of two members, Mr.Clement Sequeria, [Head Talent acquisition] & Mr.Bhaskar M, [Manager, Training] came for searching suitable talent. Initial selection process with a Written Test and Interviews, after release of an Offer of Intent to the shortlisted candidates, they provide 5 week long classroom training. Those who complete their training they will get AAPC’s CPC certification exam. Final interviews upon clearing the CPC exam and release of the Offer of Employment. Joining formalities, Induction and Training will be provided in the Bangalore office.

The programme was coordinated by Dr. Daniel Fernandes SJ & started with warm welcome of Optum team by Ms.Veronica. This was followed by small presentation by Mr. Clement Sequeria which gave detailed knowledge of company. Around 50 students participated in the campus interview drive, 50 students qualified aptitude test. Qualified students were then interviewed, results were declared after the interview round was completed. All students were shortlisted by the HR team.
